Hello, my name is Alisha and I started working in Early Years Education back in 2011. I have a wealth of knowledge and experience working with babies right the way through to preschool age children. I have ample experience working with and supporting children with SEND. I have over four and a half years managerial experience supporting and guiding a team of 35 employees delivering high quality educational opportunities for Early Years. I am very excited to be able to welcome you and your child/ren into our nursery as we all embark on the new journey as one big family; while creating memorable experiences on a day-to-day basis. I opened my first nursery in a local village in 2000. After 10 years I moved to work in a Children's Centre in a large town. Within 2 years I became the Centre Head and Associate school governor. During the next 2 years I set up and managed a nursery which ran alongside the Centre. I taught children with English as a second language and supported those with SEND. Liaising with multi-agencies including Health and Social Care. I have a Masters level post graduate degree in Education, a level 4 in Early Years Management and level 3 Diploma in Early Years. I hold a CACHE play work certificate. I am a safeguarding lead and have trained teachers in safeguarding. I hold a City and Guilds adult teaching certificate and can deliver multiple parenting courses including HENRY. I have food hygiene certificate.
